Everybody loves a Dublin stag party. Dublin is known worldwide for its young, vibrant night-life and friendly locals. With a vast range of macho activities and opportunities to explore, your stag party will be one to remember.
Where to stay
For your Dublin stag, stay close to world famous Temple Bar with its many stag friendly pubs, classy bars, casinos and great clubs. Other good locations to consider are St Stephen’s Green, Merrion Square, Capel Street, O’Connell Street and Christchurch.
When to go
Visit Dublin at any time of year. Dublin offers award winning dining, great casinos, comedy clubs and music every night of the week. In winter taking refuge in the cosy, charming pubs is no misfortune. The Temple Bar TradFest in late January is worth a visit and in Spring the rugby, including the Six Nations may take your fancy. Ireland’s most famous festival St Patrick’s Day is 17th March. From spring until autumn there are hundreds of festivals and events to consider adding to your itinerary.
It’s not all about the beer!
Make the most of your stag party by not hitting the Temple Bar area too early. If that’s not popular with everyone, keep the drinking theme going with a Guinness Storehouse tour and/or the Irish
Whiskey Experience.
If you’re an active group, after breakfast play 9 holes of golf on one of Dublin’s courses before heading off to one of the big horse racing events at Curragh, Fairyhouse, Leopardstown, Naas or Punchestown.
Alternatives are sea fishing, go-karting, bubble-football, quad biking, clay-pigeon shooting, paint-balling or get the adrenaline pumping with a jail-break experience.
Night Life
In the evening head for Temple Bar. The city’s most famous pubs are the Palace and Oliver St. John Gogarty on the corner of Fleet Street. With so many pubs, arrange a local pub crawl guide to show you the best pubs you’ll all enjoy.
Then head off to the night-clubs. An advance entry pass for your party will guarantee entry to your choice of night-club and lap-dancing club. Pre-arrange your own booth and then hit the dance-floor to get the party started.
For many, a stag party MUST include a visit to a lap-dancing club. Let the stag enjoy gorgeous girls before he signs off looking at anything other than wifely nakedness.
Back to the wife-to-be
You’ve had a stag party to mark the end of single life. Let your wife-to-be know that whilst you were apart, she was still in your heart. A piece of jewellery, a bottle of Jamieson’s or a toucan alarm clock from the Guinness Storehouse will show her she was in your heart. She’ll love the thought.
